Smiling Constance! I like to keep 3wks food/water on hand, most everyone I know does similar, easier this time of yr, as freshies are always poppin' in my community garden plot & visits to farmers markets are such a delightful outing to take ma to, plop her down with coffee & a roll she's in heaven people watching!

i am regaining composure....toning down the chuckles....me too!!! need i say more? but line by line it was reincarnation within the living....had to check my pantry, what is it, June? yep i am good until November...this was fun....thank you...yeah i am my mother

Constance i am one man with a cat that adores me and i am not a hoarder...look at my pantry, good until November, now a hoarder would say....hmmm enough until the new year in January...made you smile, that is enough...great poem

Tim, lol, great comment, yes, I was brought up with a food hoarder (though she had many wonderful qualities) so it was ingrained in me to be the same and it has been a real battle and struggle to not over buy, after all I am just one girl and one fluffy cat, thank you so much for the visit, blessings ~Constance

Aurore, lol, yes sometimes 4 for $ is not such a bargain when you are throwing away, 3 ! I have had to really walk away from those kinds of sales and just by one of whatever, and it has to be actually something I need. blessings ~Constance

FJ, nice to hear from you, I am well and hope you are too. Yes, it is a struggle sometimes to not slip back into the food hoarding thing, but I just keep reminding myself how much food does one girl need, blessings ~Constance
