My Home-A Lullaby For My Heart
I heard the song “A lovers Lullaby” once
A soulful yearning by Janis Ian
And that’s what you are for me in my life
A lullaby for my heart
With you by my side my days are sweeter
You lift my life’s burdens and pain
And lay down with me without judgement
A lullaby for my heart
Our music is the harmony of two lives smitten
Effervescent notes hugging hearts, singing
Your arms about me, with you I am always home
A lullaby I keep in my heart
So stay with me while you can my love
Sing to awake me as day begins
Our own happy love song of blessings
A lullaby I keep in my heart
