thsnks for your thoughtful comments on my two poems. Sorry for the alzheimers. i think it was your mom who had it? My stepdad had iT and my mom's life was hell for ten years. It's actually the ones at home dealing with it that are suffering. Such a cruel fate for families it occurs in.

Andrea, truly remarkable you are. Yes my mom is now 100+ and in need of much support. You are so right. All of us living nearby are pitching in to make the best of an unfortunate situation. Your poems provide a moment of fun in the midst of the overwhelming requirement for care.

We all get what’s coming to us in the long run. I believe it!

Hello, Duke; I can almost feel your emotions in this poem and stand right there with you. It is a great quip poem to bring out the horrors of war. - Blessings, Daniel!

Thanks Daniel. I checked out some of your work. It's amazing to me how different we all are in writing style, but the nice thing is we can appreciate each other. I often pick things that bother me to write about and sometimes just like making a joke. That's about the depth of my philosophy. I admire your thinking process much, sir!

Thanks Anne-Lise. Yes, it's obvious to those of us who see the suffering and ruin he has caused. It's shameful when and wherever it happens.
