My Hero

I was just on the brink of giving up on love,
I was about to jump into a fog of loneliness.

But you came and rescued me from despair,
you were my very own superman.

You brought me back from darkness,
your love revitalized my broken heart.

Your love caused me to see sunshine.
I can't believe that you are mines.

That happened ages ago and you’re
still my friend, my lover and my superman.
