My Heart of Steel
My heart of steel an alloy
Of hard work and perseverance
Silver-coated with patience
My heart of steel is as non volatile
As a diamond molecule
It is rust free, a stainless steel
nonreactive to destructive criticism
My heart of steel is though resistant
To the magnetism in sugary temptations
It is not moved by the muscle
Of bitterly howling winds…..
