My Heart Bleeds

Abomination after abomination, sorrows and tears fill my eyes Seeing my children in despair, with hope and aspiration I remain. Infidelity, rotten my roots, my heart tumble and falls With the pain I continue to bear. I have filled their van with good produce and abundance rainfall; wash away their lands from stains and brighten their homes with the finest of lights. But still! I'm not seeing my way through. How does all this happen? I sometimes wonder. My hope is to see them flourish, prosper and live in unity. As I wait to pass on my final judgment.

Hello Jonathan, I sometimes tell this to other new poets here who wait eagerly for comments :) For people to discover your poems, it often needs a little effort from both sides. People here have to see firtst you are here before they can find your poems. The best way therefore is: read poems of other poets, and leave a comment to their work. That way they see you are here, can click your name and so find your poems in return. Second piece of advice is this: (to be continued)

A sad and painful poem about something that remains unsaid. Which is good. I like poems that aren't too obvious, and give me something to guess.
