My Heart Bleeds
Abomination after abomination, sorrows and tears fill my eyes
Seeing my children in despair, with hope and aspiration I remain.
Infidelity, rotten my roots, my heart tumble and falls
With the pain I continue to bear.
I have filled their van with good produce and abundance rainfall;
wash away their lands from stains and brighten their homes with the finest of lights.
But still! I'm not seeing my way through.
How does all this happen? I sometimes wonder.
My hope is to see them flourish, prosper and live in unity.
As I wait to pass on my final judgment.
