My Happy Ending
The look in your eyes was undeniable,
As if the light shined for the first time.
The smile on your face made me realize,
This is the beginning of something special.
I've dreamed of you so many nights,
Thinking all was lost then, I found faith and
This is the start of what I needed and desired.
A simple touch of your hand,
Showed me the way to your heart.
Now you have my heart and
I have your soul.
I've looked for you all my life, and
Now I found you.
You look deeply into my eyes,
Asking, do you believe in fairy tales?
I smile. Yes, I do,
I also believe in happy endings and
Love at first sight.
You answer everyone deserves,
Their happy ending.
