My God, Thank You For Revealing To Me Your Power

Key Verse – Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR REVEALING TO ME YOUR POWER

Thank You for revealing to me Your power, supremely sovereign
For my soul’s rescue from hell’s fiery pain
Within Your salvation-assurance of everlasting gain
Along Your Word, pointing to eternity’s blessed domain...
Now, I seek Your heavenly kingdom over earthly wealth that’s vain.

Thank You for revealing to me Your power, majestically perfect
For my spirit’s quickening despite being sin-death’s gruesome prospect
Within Your regeneration-act devoid of any defeat
Along Your grace, prevailing against humanity’s wise intellect...
Now, I esteem Your complete sacrifice over self-righteousness that’s a reject.

Thank You for revealing to me Your power, mightily biblical 
For my faith’s portrayal midst self-denial’s refining trial
Within Your redemption-plan toward genuine good works’ approval
Along Your omnipotence, performing Christianity’s zealous revival...
Now, I delight in Your satisfying presence over worldly pleasure that’s carnal.

Thank You for revealing to me Your power, divinely great
For my conversion’s fruitfulness upon stewardship’s authorized mandate
Within Your transformation-effort of marvelous rate
Along Your omniscience, promoting creation’s orderly state...
Now, I obey Your grand command over lustful demand that’s an enemy-bait.

Thank You for revealing to me Your power, distinctly peculiar
For my service’s offerings at submission’s trust-accepting altar
Within Your illumination-radiance of enlightening truth-pillar
Along Your guidance, preventing individuality’s haughty attempt to be a star... 
Now, I follow Your ministerial call over inviting voice that’s unfamiliar.

Thank You for revealing to me Your power, serenely protective
For my heart’s devotion with commitment’s desired imperative
Within Your sanctification-mercy of holiness’ directive
Along Your compassion, presenting the Gospel’s loving objective...
Now, I value Your caring control over unguarded freedom that’s destructive.

Thank You for revealing to me Your power, perpetually triumphant
For my worship’s praise as grateful church-participant
Within Your glorification-fortitude of miracles’ grant
Along Your testimonies, proclaiming Your faithfulness’ covenant...
Now, I honour Your precious name over personal award that’s insignificant.
