My God, Thank You For Leading Me Up

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR LEADING ME UP
Thank You for leading me up toward soul-salvation
From false doctrine’s instruction
For me to ascend for heavenly direction
And be purposeful in Your will of eternal vision.
Thank You for leading me up toward salvation-assurance
From doubt-filled mentality’s ignorance
For me to possess truthful insurance
And be wise with Your Scriptural perseverance.
Thank You for leading me up toward assurance-commitment
From temporal worldliness’ involvement
For me to abide in godly contentment
And be secure with Your divine endearment.
Thank You for leading me up toward commitment-fervency
From weak conviction’s deficiency
For me to pursue after righteous consistency
And be dedicated to Your work with Your gracious mercy.
Thank You for leading me up toward fervency-steadfastness
From grievous unbelief’s fruitlessness
For me to labour against slothfulness-caused unproductiveness
And be diligent with Your compassionate faithfulness.
Thank You for leading me up toward steadfastness-victory
From false doctrine’s instruction
For me to ascend for heavenly direction
And be purposeful with Your eternal vision.
Thank You for leading me up toward victory-worship
From vain worldliness’ friendship
For me to praise You along joyful fellowship
And be grateful with Your offered partnership in my stewardship.
