My God, Thank You For Forming Me

Key Verse – Proverbs 26:10 The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors.  

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR FORMING ME

Thank You for forming me from sinfulness’ destruction
According to Your compassion
Toward deeds of sanctification…
Indeed securing my life by Your loving action.

Thank You for forming me from foolishness’ uselessness
According to Your holiness
Toward ways of righteousness…
Indeed saving my soul by Your graciousness.

Thank You for forming me from worldliness’ vanity
According to Your authority
Toward values of eternity…
Indeed converting my heart by Your pity.

Thank You for forming me from selfishness’ demand
According to Your Scriptures’ command
Toward sacrifices ways of service-errand…
Indeed transforming my attitude by Your molding hand.

Thank You for forming me from haughtiness’ curses
According to Your meekness’ forces
Toward gratitude of worship-praises…
Indeed breaking my will by Your braces.

Thank You for forming me from filthiness’ hazard
According to Your perfection’s standard
Toward cleanliness of testimony-card…
Indeed protecting my spirituality by Your safeguard.

Thank You for forming me from wickedness’ misery
According to Your Gospel story
Toward jubilation of glory…
Indeed sealing my future by Your victory.
