My God, Thank You For Appearing Unto Me

September 8 Scripture Meditations Based on Matthew 1-3

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR APPEARING UNTO ME

Thank You for appearing unto me with Your salvation’s assurance
Indeed rescuing my soul from hell-fire’s endurance
And giving me life everlasting’s insurance
So that I can pursue holiness-perseverance.

Thank You for appearing unto me with Your regeneration’s provision
Indeed meeting my needs from scarcity’s sanction
And feeding me through bountifulness’ production
So that I can enjoy contentment-satisfaction.

Thank You for appearing unto me with Your redemption’s graciousness
Indeed guarding my spirit from sinfulness’ perilousness
And ransoming me against doubtfulness’ possessiveness
So that I can live for truth-righteousness.

Thank You for appearing unto me with Your adoption’s certainty
Indeed changing my status from earthliness’ futility
And transforming me toward heavenly eternity
So that I can overcome selfishness-gravity.

Thank You for appearing unto me with Your sanctification’s cleansing
Indeed purifying my heart from iniquities’ cursing
And purging me through hypocrisy-guilt’s rinsing
So that I can receive honesty-blessing.

Thank You for appearing unto me with Your justification’s pardon
Indeed pulling my direction from worldliness’ icon
And forgiving me in my confession when pride in me has won
So that I can bear good works’ fruits in due season.

Thank You for appearing unto me with Your conversion’s victory
Indeed strengthening my faith from doubt’s injury
And refining me for soulwinning’s glory
So that I can declare Gospel story.
