My God, Jesus Christ

I knew
you not, was
born in sin
but yet you
loved me first

Glory be
his majesty,
Lord of the
universe

You saved
this world, a
wicked world,
by dying on
the cross

Without that
act of precious
love this world
would now be
lost

This wicked
world, they
looked at you
and cursed you
to your face

And when
you walked
upon this earth
many cried
“disgrace!”

But Lord
I know that
you are real,
our savior and
precious lamb

Lords of Lords,
King of Kings,
Jehovah
The Great I AM

Written in Germany -Circa 1997
