I remember when,
 I was young;
I used to hang out in the kitchen;
wit Grandma

And on every Saturday afternoon
She would always make homemade pastries
And on the table was her bible and hymnal

And I would Always ask her
As she was hummin
You she grams WAS always happy

she'd say(sing)

My God, is sweeter than candy
And He is so handy
He's my Holy Daddy

I remember when,
 I was young;
I used to hang out in the kitchen;
wit Grandma would say, Hey!

she'd say(sing)

My God is sweeter than candy
My God is sweeter than candy
My God is sweeter than candy
And He is so handy
He's my Holy Daddy and He is
Sweeter than candy
My God is sweeter than candy
