Tenth Place

My Garden and Cat

Love
my small
garden of
fresh vegetables
herbs and bright flowers
tomatoes in baskets
hanging painted bird houses
a wicker table and two chairs
sanctuary peaceful and calming
I can spend hours and hours reflecting life
And kitty loves it as much as I do
she likes to lay on the balcony
on her back showing her tummy
then, she seeks the shade of trees
sometimes, she is hiding
I call her to come
oh, sweet meow
I scoop her
up with
love.
