My Future
It's impossible to know your future
for no amount of knowledge to know
what tomorrow will bring forth
moving on for your future fast or slow
No matter that there's no certainty
one can fall asleep to dream
just wishing for something special
making it the one sure theme
Having been diagnosed 6 years ago
with PC* which is now under control
just trust for God's loving goodness
to keep me healthy in His chosen role
I have such a love of good books
wishing never to lose this desire
to always learn more of God's ways
growing deeper in scripture never to tire
Also to be a truly faithful husband
with care, compassion, and biblical love
shown to my lovely wife Christine
our love for one another fits like a glove
* PC: Prostate Cancer
(Just some thoughts regarding my future no matter how long or short that may be.)
