My Fork In My Road
Sometimes I find myself wondering if I am truly awake or still dreaming. My memories resonate like a distant life I have lived, beautifully broken and full of experiences, yet forever out of reach to hold again.
With everything I have endured in my past, the scars of abandonment, and the pain of losing those I love, being left alone is something I can never fully come to terms with.
I navigate my life like a maze, welcoming the challenges of dead ends that encourage me to turn back and explore new paths. With every attempt, I discover the courage to find my way.
I welcome the isolation and the fear of the unknown. The thought that at any moment, a series of unfortunate events can occur keeps me vigilant, aware, alive, and in the moment.
