My Forefathers

As the bones of the forefathers
Find their way
May you sit on top
And observe your work
As there is more to come NDESANA
I journey is not a journey
Until it is taken Qwashu
Constructively as it formulates
A song is not a song
Until it is sang MBOYI
Silently as it builds up
A dream is not a dream
Until it has been lived NGAYIBANJWA

Dreamy eyes saw a path
Yet it does not have a title VULAMASANGO
As the votes of the forefathers
Foresee your existence
May you be blessed abundantly
And be free
As there is freedom to be utilized LETA
