My Fire

I will be a sudden silence
to calm your burning soul,
 and quiet the words.
Lay down and let thoughts sleep,
escape to a place that accepts you with flaws,
Stand with me there, and be one with me.
Awake from sadness and shout!
Laugh without control!
cry for joy!
I will hold you and never let you go.

Christine No, I am not the girl you met in Iraq. This poem is so full of emotion and feeling, it touches the reader and tugs at their heart in a sweet way. Nice job Thanks for the awesome comment on my Life poem.

Chistine this one touches the lonely wolf in my soul; The one that howls silently at the moon sometimes. Thank you for helping .

LOved this one Christine! While I liked the entire poem, the last line was the clincher, with the last four words being special. I hope it won't be plagiarizing you if I make a poem from that last line. If it will, let me know and I'll not even consider it.
