My Final Goodbye
My Guardian Angel,
If I could get a warning,
Before God came to take me to Heven,
I would wake in the morning
Right about seven;
Get down on my knees to pray
And then I would wake you.
Knowing that this is my last day,
I realize what I've always wanted to do.
Looking into your eyes,
With my head on your chest;
I have never been good at goodbyes,
But I let you know that I feel truly blessed;
I have cherished these years.
Before I fade away into the sky,
I will wipe your tears
And tell you "bye-bye".
