My Favourite Dish
MY FAVOURITE DISH
I met her some twenty years ago
Underneath a September moon's glow
We talked later on the phone
And soon two hours time was gone
We set a date for Friday night
I prayed that all would be just right
As we listened to “Unchained Melody”
I knew she was the one for me
The years together have been so good
I never doubted that they would
God has granted my fondest wish
And now my wife is my favourite dish
