My Father

My father he's  one of a kind
Very smart and wise.
He takes care of me everyday,
I dred  every second he's  away.

If we fight
I'm sorry but it's  alright  
Because I love you
Through day and night.

Even if you're  a million miles away
We are connected  anyway
With a force bigger than you think
A force that my heart brings

Aww, this is such a sweet and very touching write for your dad-- and I am reading his comments below and it's just so beautiful to see... You are both so blessed to have such a beautiful father-daughter relationship. I loved your 3rd stanza the best here, Elena... it says so much. I love the idea of that "force" being from your heart. Btw, I just want to let you know, there's a missing letter "a" in "dread". Keep on writing your heartfelt writes, Elena :D!
