"Life is a tapestry with the journey of our existence
woven within the twisted, hued threads . . . ."
Quote by _Constance
I watched the sunset today
oh, it was so beautiful
the suns healing rays washed over me
with mauve, purple and blue hues in the sky
as the clock of my existence ticked away
I watched till it slipped away
my life has been like a meandering stream
with calmness, and wild turns and dips
my existence from birth a difficult journey
the wheels of time will never stop turning
even when I am still
weaving a tapestry of my existence
creating a map of my life
sometimes I am floating in a vast sea
with no destination chartered
and no shore in sight
the depth of my fear is an endless puzzle
oh yes, it is true
life is a circle from birth to death and beyond
I am on a journey as my clock ticks, ticks, ticks
when I am broken
I am like a flower with wilted petals
like a butterfly with damaged wings
and my poetic pen is empty of words
and my muse flown away
my soul waiting
I fold my petals, I fold my wings
and God whispers fear not dear one
the gates of Heaven will open
to a new forever, ever existence
then, suddenly I am colors
I am a bird soaring, flying, flying, flying
I am powerful, so powerful
yet, I weep, weep, weep
at the pollution, wars, starvation on earth
the effects of global warming, the storms
earthquakes, the death of forests, loss of habitate
for God's beloved creatures, the use of guns
the race and religious unfairness
but I am powerful
I will work to make a difference in my short time
as the clock of my existence clicks, clicks, clicks
as my existence fades
I breathe for I am the answer
each of us can be the way
in some small way
