Come one come all my ex for sale
His underwear being sold in bale
                 Naked on the block
                 Glad he is defrock 
His chest shows fear at the exsale

Limericks are a VERY hard form since you must be able to write in meter to do them..if it's not in anpest unstress unstress STRESS[Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house] or amphibrachial meter unstress STRESS [There was a young lady of Wantage] it's not a limerick..end of story. [Hey Joy so re:contest [I just write a verse/gift, to 5 people..like verse 1 agift to Yassie, verse 2 a gift to Kash..etc. they don't have to do anything..is this right?]Light & Love

you have started with a STRESSED word so you got right off on the wrong foot..there is a wee bit of leaway at the beginning and end of lines..use a NAME, a LOOK and a place ..If you start with the traditional /There WAS a ..There once was a /at least you'll get off on the right foot

Girl; I had to read this to see what you came up with. I like it. I once wrote a poem, but it was my heart I had forsale. Can you believe it. Only $ 10.00. Many years ago A woman put up her husband for sale. It was on The Chicago Sun Times. She wanted $ 10.000,because he liked to drink bear and go fishing. Guess what - she started getting calls from women, saying that they would pay the price. She told them that it was only a joke. Blessings. Lucy

Cute one..Got a chuckle..Once when we were on vacation there was this sign that said "Rent My Ex"..I thought that was funny..I guess the woman ran the business so that she would be sure to get her support..There was another one in the same area that said "Two Exs And A Truck"..Sara
