My Dream Within A Dream

Stretching across the bright heavens,
The sun's beams of many
Colors paint the radiant sky.
Softly meeting the horizon,
Leaves of the most burning ember
And pink cherry blossom,
On Autumn trees, pepper our path.
A Kiss of warmth sways our gay play.
We hover, veiled above the grass.
None living, round the orchid blooms.
Woven love swirling quietly
About promising fields,
As it webs perfectly upon
Our longing heart and soul.
A yawn of clouds, peace together
Gone, only to waken alone.
Lost to a dream I wished was in.
Shadows gather into countless
Piece of kaleidoscope shard glass.
Know my eyes fill with tears.
A crunch white-page heartfelt aching.
Awaken to silence, alone,
In a sweat to a wilting mass
Of nothingness and space
Of elapsed painful memories.
