My Diet

I sit, wishing to lose a pound
My diet is failing, I frown
I eat all day
Putting it away
I’m having trouble getting around

Great limerick,Russell: For breakfast I eat one poached egg with mustard and tabasco on a waffle or bun then I leave the table still hungry but i forget my hunger after 5 minutes. Then for lunch I remember.

Russell my friend, how much i understand you! Five months ago I decided enough is enough when I came upon a Tibetan proverb that says: Eat half, walk double, laugh triple and love unlimited! Well I tried it. Cut my intake in half, start walking double,( 4-7 km a day) the remaining two things I didn't cut down for they were unlimited! Five months later I have lost 27 pounds not bad! I will keep it up. Funny Limerick my friend but true!

-... funny limerick :))) ... but sad, Russell ... because there are many who suffer from obesity - Diet alone helps nothing ... exercise! ... and it can be painful - hugs // Anne-Lise :)
