John Loving Iii Poet Light Verse

My Devotion To God

My devotion is bigger than the ocean
Because i know that He is my portion
for miracles
  my peacefull feelings
My invisible guard and powerfull rod
that devides the sea's before me

My devotion is constant praise
When I feel my salvation
in the middle of days
Not just salvation from hell fire and death
But salvation from earthly trails I've left

My devotion is pure
because I escape satan's allure
it is my protection from ungodly selections
that make those suffer
what they cannot endure
from earthly damnation there is no cure

My devotion is sacred
it runs from all hatedred
from pride and predjudice it hides 
and harbors the message of the wise
to be faithful and when I die
my faith in Him will bring me back to life

Diane Christian March 30, 2009 at 12:00 PM thank you thank you ever so much, wow your feed back was music to my ears about reading the bible in the bathroom, I neevr thought it possible but my husband has found a water proof bible 11.64 pounds, its new testament with psalms and proverbs in it so cool, we have to get one now, now I can have my food and eat it anywhere anytime, thanks God bless you from diane
