My Desire

If anyone would have told me I would feel such desire, 
When he looks into my eyes that my heart would feel on fire. 

I do not know if he is aware of the spell he has on me, 
But I feel like a locked soul and he holds the key.

I have so much love that I want to share, 
But he loves someone else and it is not fair. 

Nothing I have done will catch his attention, 
Even when I try to show him a little affection. 

Maybe one day he will let me into his life, 
But I will have to wait until he no longer has a wife. 

Until that day I'll just admire him and wait for him to say, 
That he's free of her and he's mine today.

I know that will not happen because he is a good man, 
And his wife is so lucky, he's her biggest fan.
