My December Spirit

Like a phoenix I revive
When cold frost tickles my toes
It's in December I thrive
As my cheer surely grows

Paint this gloomy city white
And sprinkle it with Christmas balls
And the carols sound just right
As I heed the needy's calls

We give life to a frigid world
A revival of hope for the worried
Unravel the lights for light to be unfurled
We bring solitude to the flurried

I find peace in a Christmas tree
A generation's love fills me with exuberance
So I sing and make jolly so very free
And my joy blossoms into protuberance
