My Darling Fair

Oh sweet love, my darling fair,
hold me close and show you care.
Caress me in words of full affection.
Show our passion's true perfection.
Whisper "I love you" close to ear.
Coo it softly as vapor so I may hear.
Quivering under your love so bold,
is this faint heart that you now hold.
Within your arms I’m safe and free.
Bathing within a beauty of ecstasy.
No other place seems just and right,
shielded within our lover’s light.
If it be possible to forever remain,
held upon this romantic plain.
Never to leave, never to say goodbye.
A true taste of heaven wherein I lie.
Oh sweet love, my darling fair,
hold me close and show your care.
For life without you being so near,
is a torture held within a lover’s tear.
