My Dark Past

I once followed a dark and ugly path,
One that could of took the beat of my heart.

For years I was hooked on drugs.
Despite all the tears all I did was shrug

A teenager leaving others mind blown with his goals
Turned Into the same one getting his head blown by different girls

I dreamt of my family staying together
But my dad was busy going to get her.

I grew up despising him,
Not knowing I'll be just like him.

When my girl was pregnant of my son
She stayed home, while I had my fun

Leaving her all lonely by herself,
As I watched someone else finger her self.

Do I regret the **** I've done?
Yes plus I despise the man I've become

So here's a little about my past,
Hope we can make this new person last.
