My Dad

My dad, a dear and wonderful man. He did not teach me much, he only said one thing. His wisdom was, "a winner never quits and a quitter never wins." Words he lived by, words he taught to me. Words true years ago, words never truer today. His words have been there, when he was not. My dad's words, gave me hope when there was none. Date Written: 11/13/2020 I do not know why my dad said this but he did. Napoleon Hill, “Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win” 2 Place It's a part of me - Life and the perceptions and philosophies you hold. Contest Judged:11/17/2020 Sponsored by: Silent One

Probably your dad was a man of few words, Paula, but that was more important than how many more words he could have said! ~ Regards // paul

I love the poem of your relationship with your Dad and his wise words, I had the same with my Dad but he died at the age of 64 from bronchial cancer. I was devastated, but he is my guardian angel. Hugs and blessings my friend, Jennifer.

I read Hill’s books. This was an important cheerleader for salespeople. I wonder if your dad was in sales. My dad read them. He sold insurance in the 60’s.

Thanks for your note. I do not know if he read the book or not. I did not know about the book until the late 80's. Have a wonderful day................
