My Cup of Tea

May I suggest trying a strong cup of tea When I am distraught, my go-to remedy A soothing tincture for the addled brain After a cup or two, I really can’t complain. I shall take the English at their word A spot of tea, especially in the afternoon, Can shed new light on the simply absurd Restore to normality quicker than soon. Nothing so hits the spot, I’ve found it so I enjoy trying the hundreds of varieties From around the civilized world, though I most appreciate the Wuyi Oolong teas. Relaxing, this grand old custom, you know If you try it, on you it will certainly grow. Written October 3, 2022

I have to wonder now if this is a sweet tea "I most appreciate the Wuyi Oolong teas." because I have no idea.

Truthfully, I've never tasted Wuyi Oolong tea unless I did so in a Chinese restaurant. It worked so well in the poem. If I identify it, I'll share the info with you.

Thanks, Ilene. Oh, I must have my coffee first thing in the morning. Tea doesn't come until later in the afternoon, just like for you. I have tea less now that I have to watch my sugar.

I will have to try this version Milton Wuyi Oolong my wife has had it I haven't yet. Tea is a wonderful beverage to enjoy. Thanks for sharing...

Thanks for your splendid, thoughtful comment, Michael. I don't drink as much tea as I used to. I have to watch my sugar, and I prefer my tea with sugar.
