My Creator
created
yet, not once did i consider
my creator
when i thought less of myself
and wanted to be someone else
not once did i consider my creator
my creator who is perfect and fair
the father of all things
who knows all things
who sees all things
who rules all things
high above
and beneath
the deepest sea
not once did i consider my creator
my creator who is thoughtful and loving
every promise is promising
never leaving me behind doors
that i cant walk through
never stuck because of imperfections
that leave me defeated
or constantly replaceable
theres beauty in me
even with flaws
im not permanently floored
my weaknesses
leave me standing
in a unique position
because of my creator
my creator who kept me still
while strong winds would blow
knocking down what exist around me
making me the pillar
unknowingly
sharing who i am
when i think theres nothing left
those hidden parts of me
that my creator created
swim to the surface
and leave others blessed
oh what joy
when i reject doubt
and believe in my creator who created me
