My Cloud By Day-My Fire By Night

"My Cloud By Day-My Fire By Night"


LORD please, 
be my cloud by day
take all my troubles 
and send them away!
The devil will then 
have no power nor sway
when I walk upright 
and stay in your Way!

Please LORD, 
be my fire by night
giving me peace 
with your guiding light
to light my path 
and stay in your sight,
safely held in 
your Power and Might!

LORD please, 
be my cloud by day,
with healing words 
may you help me to say
to those who may 
have fallen away
and wish to return 
to you I pray!

Please LORD, 
be my fire by night
and show me the things 
that are wrong 
to make right!
May I wear your armor 
to stand and to fight
and choose your words 
from my heart to recite!

LORD please, 
be my cloud by day
and cover me 
with your 
sweetest bouquet
that lasts forever 
with no decay
and is the greatest 
of any array! 

Please LORD, 
be my fire by night,
and within me 
may your love ignite
the anticipation 
and joy outright
when you take 
all the darkness
and turn it to light!
