I had been having awful headaches that sapped my strength and made my physically ill.

I got so I couldn't see clearly at all and was even having double vision.

Not only did I have cataracts I also had a degeneration thing going.

Forget what he called it.

Anyway, The surgeries on both eyes are over and I see a lot better now.

Have these eye drops several times a day but that's okay.

It's just for a month.

Take are of your eyes.

You only get one pair so don't strain them.

God Bless,

JB

I was apprehensive. I guess a little scared; Though other folks who knew the score, Had told me how they fared. The operation's easy. No worries, it's a breeze. Don't be afraid, I've been there, And you'll come through with ease. I believed them, yes I did, But it's new ground for me. I had to go, I knew I did, So once more I could see. I asked The Lord to come with me, To give me the courage I'd need. So the headaches would stop and I could see, Together we'd do this deed. It all went well, I was in and out. It didn't take long at all. The haze is gone, it's a bright new world, There was really no reason to stall.

Enjoyed reading your work. It has great rhythm to it which makes a poem so much fun to read. I and my husband have both had cataract surgery which is a good thing to help with one of the problems of aging. Thanks for the visit to my page your comments are encouraging. Sara

I am so pleased for you, Judy! Being apprehensive before surgery is part of human nature; the good thing is you went ahead and did what you had to do. Your faith did not let you down:) A pleasure to have you back! Regards // paul
