My Captain, My Captain
                                                                                                       July, 2015
Oh, my Lord I sit here tonight pen with in hand
Just wondering where this is going?
 I know you have a plan for me
 Using me as your pen this night.
 Oh, my captain, my captain…

You leadeth me to the green grasses on mountain tops
You restore my soul
You make all things rightness in your name
From my mountain tops to my valleys
Oh my captain, my captain…
*
I ask you Lord to take me out of my depths
And lead me to your light that I know
In your son, Jesus Christ
I know that you sent for my salvation.
 Oh, my captain, my captain…
*
Lord you built me a house with a strong foundation 
The love you give me fills my soul
You have given me love when no other had
Now my house is filled with love.
 Oh, my captain, my captain…
*
Oh my Lord, I give praise to you
I know all I have, all that you have given me
Is all my blessings to give too you.
Oh yea, My Captain, My Captain…

And Never did get to where I was going.LOL
