My Cage

I remember being always in your sight
Running with speed of deer
Untouchable in a fair race.

I remember hearing your foot steps
A symphony to me
Like wind carries
The smell of a forest.

I remember when I was set free
Ocean runs in my blood
My cage still unbroken
Cold in weeping fog.

This comes under the category of things that make you go "hmmmm" which can be a good thing. I was with you till the last verse."Ocean runs in my blood My cage still unbroken" first I'm a fish then a bird? "hmmmmmmm" then a "x" in the fog? Oh well, I have to think harder! Light & Love Debbie
