Would Shakespeare have liked free verse now, not before? Should Hamlet sound free, instead of rhyme, which we adore May Poe have written The Raven in the same odd, magical flow? If words had not rhymed artfully in poetry crafted so long ago Clever poets proved their skills in a great rhyming scheme. Certainly Shakespeare's verses and the poems of Poe still sound beautiful as they have used rhyme in their poetic verse. They delight and enthrall us even after centuries as a brew of coffee in the morning ! Lovely shape and beautiful poem. Your variety amazes me.
