My Body Once Knew Midnight Memoirs of a Survivor
It is funny just how much I am connected with the night sky.
How the night was my day and day was my night, never seeing to much of the Suns light.
It was a whole different world after dark, the streets do not look the same when the rays of the sun hit the pavement.
Those rays on the pavement were blinding, forcing me to run back into the darkness once again.
MY darkness was a place of safety, a place of torturer, a place of peace and a place of fear all in one.
Darkness was once my day and my body once knew midnight but did not know freedom. (SHYNE930)
