My Blest Life In the Lord
Blest* is my life in the Lord Who molds me toward Christlikeness…
As His redeemed, I’m transformed by His grace-might
For clean testimony as justified by His imparted righteousness
Against disobedience of selfishness-height.
Blest is my life in the Lord Who upholds me by His mercy…
As His ransomed, I’m directed and driven thru His truth’s voice
For strengthened faith midst fiery trials proving my prayer fervency
Against discontentment intensified by worldliness’ noise.
*Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
