My Bitter Tears Like Pearls

My bitter tears like pearls conceived in pain Frustration underlying a flailing, sad descent, Down, downward falling to such a dark abyss Where hurt and sorrow soon will commiserate. Did you not see the anguish of my aching heart? Loss which triggers emotions I so carefully conceal And take from me every bit of strength I possess, To make a better life for myself despite your gall. And I believe that time will come to rescue me, Take me to that higher plane of heavenly I seek My bitter tears will dry up, like they never were, I shall love again, I vow, and taste new tears of joy.

"And I believe that time will come to "rescue me, Take me to that higher plane of he" avenly I seek My bitter tears will dry up, like they never were, I shall love again, I vow, and taste new tears of joy." - This is how we get rescued, when we get to go home. I shall miss you, but I understand your yearning to be with Deb eventually.

Sometimes my deep, inner feelings of loss overwhelm me, and particularly during these months when I struggle with SADD. I try to write happy, joyful things, but sometimes I slip into some kind of dark space.

Your words convey much loss and sorrow Milt. Keeping up a positive demeanour cannot be easy. And yet I detect hope and positivity in your words too albeit reunited after life. Your poetry is very powerful. Cheers - Gary

Aw, thanks so much, Gary. The anguish of one jilted, or at least, one who suffers deeply from love lost. Still has hope for the return of joy into his/her life.
