My Bestfriend

She is all I have ever asked, a bestfriend.
Her eyes look straight through my heart, 
with just a look at me she understands what I'm thinking of.
She is like the wind that pulls me foward.
She can make me laugh even in the darkest of all days.
She is all I have ever asked, a bestfriend, and she finally came to me, 
an angel in the fog.

Good metaphors slide in unnoticed and invoke the feeling you want exrpessed without flat out saying it. You have good instincts, good job.
