My Beautiful One

You were in my lap. Child, you were resting. Little pretty face, with your glowing eyes. You have beautiful eyelashes, deep, dark eyes A thousand times I kissed there, in your sleep. You were hugging me , You were smiling at me. And your fingers were playing with my hair, unbundled. You were helping me to get back to you, to life. As life touches another in joy , humility and courage. Never did I understand, this could also be a test of life. I see your face, I see your smile, and my tears run in agony. I would not let you to struggle in suffering, the trials of life May God have mercy on me, may God ease the pain in strife.
