My Angel's Voice

There are angels among us mine has taken my hand
SHE has left me physically
But together we stand
SHE is forever an angel to me
SHE would hate to see me so lost and lonely
I know myself though she would NEVER confess
She  never was one to feel the need to impress
If she was here would have this one request
MY dear child please don't waste
 any more of of your precious time being depressed

Move on live life is what I would suggest
Realize even without me that you are very blessed
I am always with you just taking a well needed rest
Breaks my heart to see you so weary and stressed
We have an Eternal bond that can pass any test
I hate to remind you but there is no other choice
SHE says sweetly in her angel voice
You have been my Angel all of my years
Please Mom  help me I don't wanna cry endless tears
Losing  YOU has always been my greatest fear
Now is the time it's already here

How? how can I go on without your love?
Is it strong enough when it comes from above?
How do I get there what do I do? 
MY ANGEL grant me strength to pull me through
All my life you have been giving and giving
Just need this one  favor
If you could help me to rejoin the world of the living?
Right now I'm a shallow corpse of my former self 
Longing for the one I adored more than anyone else
I feel like I am already dead too
I can't imagine the rest of my life without YOU
I am so broken hearted just don't know where I stand
Things didn't exactly go  as I had planned

This temporary separation I know our love can withstand
SHE would want me to laugh grow and smile
Instead of sitting around in disbelief and denial 
To live a life that's  full & worrhwhile
 MY dear just wait and you will see
This time apart only temporary
Please move on don't waste any more time crying for me
I believe because I believe in you Mother
Don't you worry we will remain
Connected to each other

To see you like this is more than I can take
Don't you worry when the Lord calls your name
I will be waiting for you at the gate
Let go of your pain and be free
Those are the words my Angel whispers to me
You may have your doubts about Angels
Because  even I  once did
Now I KNOW I have known one since I was just a kid
And her work is far from done
How do I know of angels? 
Because I was raised by one
