My Amphetamine

I see your face In a crowd of skeletons You don’t see me Hiding behind them all My heart starts to run Sprinting in circles Back and forth A caged animal released Not quite sure where to go You see me For a second your eyes lock with mine Followed by a gentle grin Warmth and desire Floods my body Blood rushing through every vessel Veins pumping every which way But then you’re lost amongst them all And I’m left out of breath Wondering Where I’ll see you next How to get another fix
