Mustard Fields

Fields paint yellow sea
A flood of mustard flowers
Our chocolate hours

Miles and miles in smile
Of Van Gogh painting freedom
Hours we spent handsome

The sky smiles like you
Blue above and yellow here 
Come, let's clink our beer

Forrest Pasky January 2, 2017 at 8:08 AM "Our chocolate hours" is a very good line. I was drawn to this poem as we get fields of mustard fields here in California. They are a weed. But the plant dominates...and does provide that yellow sea of which you speak.
