Musings On Prayer

Folding hands in prayer, what do we ask? Are we poised in calm or quaking in fear, hoping God will do our unfinished task? Do we pray that He brigs to us good cheer or do we truly wish that He comes near? Is the God we pray to, a mere concept, brought forth by culture that’s always suspect or do we in trust, simply surrender, seeking simply with God a deep connect, exuding love, making our touch tender? 27-April-2023
