Musings of a Wise Old Owl

Mused the owl roosting on a pine tree shoot,



   "My colleagues think I'm not very astute,



       But I wisely perch in pines,



          Not on hot transmission lines!



             If they singe their butts I don't give a hoot!"

I have never seen an owl perched up on those power lines, as other birds do. They really are wise ones!.... A great write, Robert! Congrats on your win!

Cute one..Maybe his colleagues just love to get a charge out of life everyday..Thanks for stopping by..I don't think I have ever seen a Falcon here except one I saw in a caged in area in a man's front yard..We have red tail hawk here..Their are two families of them on our road..I see them out occasionally either perched or flying over a field..There are suppose to be Southern Bald Eagles here but I have never seen one..Thanks again..Sara
