My imagination runs wild as soon as I wake Nature often shakes my dormant muse awake It could be just a flash of insight It could be scenic wonders in plain sight It magically kindles fire within me It unexpectedly greets me with glee Sometimes awakened by deeply-felt passion Sometimes it's written in a sky ashen Life, emotions, and images help fuel my creativity I never force my muse; I let it rest when in captivity.
