Muse, Is My Beating Heart

my heart and soul, and my reflection ... "

God bestowed to me a gift ...
          since a child I have penned poems ... with my Muse
        together we contemplate and ponder
      Muse is my ever friend
             and inspiration

          ~  often we need to dream to find our path
and I have complete trust in Muse
        sometimes, we need to meditate  ~ 

      Muse means everything to me
          he dwells deep within my soul
when we find our words there is hope and joy
our poem can be sad, nature, life, or full of happiness or fun
            and we love to share ...

~ we spend time reflecting on forms and layouts
           selecting the perfect one for our words
and we like to be inspired by poets of old  ~

my Muse of poetry is my assistant
       in my daily life, he is that whisper in my mind
          when I am sleeping, his voice is quiet
      he inspires me in my art and in my life decisions
         though at times he does go missing

          ~ but, I have faith that he will return to me
for he is my forever friend
        my life inspiration ...  and my soul
... Muse, is my beating heart ~
